Don and I and 4 other volunteers drove from Long Beach to Victorville with 203 quilts for presentation to Veterans at the luncheon from Don Ferrasse Foundation. There were 325 Veterans (including 26 from WW11) and their families attending. We had the quilts on hangers so each could choose which quilt best fit their desires. Dad Tate had the lovely banner made for us. Lots of happy faces. The group gave us the names of those who were to receive quilts, so they were on the table! We had several female Veterans as well.
Hope some of you piecers and quilters see your quilt in the hands of the end recipient!
And our mountain view coming home.
