10/23 sew day and BIG accomplishment

We had another new volunteer stop in today.  she helped do all the seam pressing for everyone…thank you ALice.  I worked a little on the Missouri Star disappearing pinwheel 3 & 4 as you can see from the photos.  I’m usually not IN the photos because I’m the one taking all the photos!!    Drum roll, drumroll:  WE COMPLETED QUILT #3000!!!!! Everyone was dieing for their quilt to be the special one, but Julie timed it right.  That’s a pretty good Make a Difference Day.  We got a couple more requests for our quilts to be given to specific Veterans.  Onward and Upward!

I made a couple of t-shirt quilts for guys in the Air Force and they were beautifully quilted.
