VERY busy week 8-8 to 8-16

We started our week by doing 8 quilt presentations on Monday.  A gal had requested a quilt for her brother in law, who lives at an assisted living facility.  The faculty wanted quilts for 8 Veterans, so we obliged!  A couple were from WW11 including one from D Day, a couple from Korea and a couple from Vietnam eras.

One Response to VERY busy week 8-8 to 8-16

  1. Jenny Darby says:

How do I request a quilt of valor for my husband, Willie Darby, who was in Vietnam. He retired from the USAF in 1986. He has many health problems, all of which are agent orange related. He has diabetes, kidney disease and a pacemaker to name a few. I would love to get one for him, since the Vietnam vets were never welcomed home. I can be reached at 951-288-5999 or by email to: jennydarby@icloud.com. We live in Nuevo, in Riverside County. Thank you for your consideration. Jenny Darby (also a USAF veteran).
